Uzbekistan imported specifically designed foreign-made vehicles for over $603 million in January-April 2020
$603.8 million was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain industries, and $310.7 million – on auto spare parts.
The State Statistics Committee provided information on cars and auto spare parts imported to Uzbekistan in January-April.
It was noted that $603.8 million was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain types of industries. $310.7 was paid for automobile spare parts.
In addition, cars, mainly the ones designed for passenger transportation (excluding vehicles designed to carry 10 or more people), were imported for $197.8 million. $424.0 million was spent on non-industrial vehicles and their spare parts.
Electrical communications, recording and broadcasting devices cost $201.1 million. Electrical cars, apparatus, instruments and their spare parts cost $204.5 million.
