Admission to first grade at schools to begin from July 1
The Ministry of Public Education has clarified when enrollment in the first grade of schools will begin in Uzbekistan.
It is reported that due to quarantine this year, admission to the first grade will begin from July, not from June.
According to the existing procedure, from June 1 to August 31 of each year, the admission process to the first grade of all schools in the country was carried out. To do this, parents had to directly visit schools and submit documents. It is difficult for them to do it in the quarantine period, that is, parents cannot come to educational institutions during the summer season.
In this regard, the Ministry of Public Education is developing its own proposals.
The MPE has taken into account the gradual easing of quarantine restrictions in the country. It is planned to postpone the admission process to the first grade from June to July-August until the effects of the pandemic are completely eliminated.
As a result:
1. Full compliance with quarantine regulations will be ensured by restricting visits of parents to schools;
2. In June, the registration of school graduates will be in process, they will be prepared to submit documents to universities.
Additional information can be obtained through the school administration once the admission process to first grade begins.
