Two people killed, three placed in intensive care after traffic accident in Jizzakh

Criminal proceedings were instituted under Article 266 of the Criminal Code.

On July 2, 2020, at 15:00, a traffic accident occurred on the 4R-40 “Gallaorol-Osmat” road, which passes through the Gallaoral district, Jizzakh region.

According to the Investigation Department, a 35-year-old driver of Nexia was heading to Gallaorol when he lost control and collided with Damas on the oncoming lane.

As a result, 42-year-old and 47-year-old passengers of Damas died at the spot due to injuries sustained.

The driver of Nexia, his 28-year-old and 15-year-old passengers were taken to hospital and still remain in the intensive care unit of the Gallaorol district medical association.

The Investigation Department of the district DIA instituted criminal proceedings under Article 266 of the Criminal Code.
