“Every Family – Entrepreneur” program to receive additional $98 million
The President has adopted a decree “On additional measures for financing the “Every Family – Entrepreneur” program and development of small industrial zones in the Namangan region”, the Ministry of Justice reports.
In accordance with the decree, in order to provide a source of income to families whose social situation and living conditions have significantly deteriorated due to the pandemic, it is planned to allocate $98 million from the Reconstruction and Development Fund to ensure their employment. In particular, the following banks will contribute in the amounts set below:
• JSCB “Agrobank” - $40 million;
• JSC “Xalq banki” - $30 million;
• JSCB “Mikrokreditbank” - $28 million.
In addition, $2 million will be allocated to microfinance service organizations and non-governmental non-profit organizations to support projects attracting young people and women to small businesses.
Khokimiyat of the Namangan region will receive $50 million for further development of small industrial zones.
