“Coronavirus-free” health certificates issued abroad not recognized in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan will not recognize “coronavirus-free” health certificates issued abroad.
The Chief State Sanitary Inspector, Nurmat Otabekov, said this during a briefing held at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.
“Certificates on the absence of coronavirus issued abroad are not recognized in Uzbekistan,” he said.
Nurmat Otabekov noted that Uzbekistan has its own testing system.
To remind, some countries that open their borders require different certificates of the absence of COVID-19.
