Karshi city closed for quarantine, traffic movement restricted

A number of additional restrictions have been introduced in Kashkadarya from July 27 to August 15, the regional special commission reported.

According to the report, the entry and movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted, with the exception of vehicles:

- traveling to and from a medical institution or a pharmacy for the purchase of necessary medicines, for medical examination in connection with the deterioration of the health of citizens, pregnancy;

- transporting agricultural and food products;

- transporting equipment and raw materials for construction companies and businesses.

Reportedly, until August 15, traffic movement in the city of Karshi will be completely suspended. That is, traffic movement is prohibited in the regional center throughout the day. Exceptions apply for the aforementioned cases only.
