Young woman tries to sell her three-month-old baby for $5,000 in Tashkent
In Tashkent, police officers detained a 21-year-old woman who was trying to sell her three-month-old child for $5,000.
According to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs, a woman appealed to the department with a statement that a 21-year-old resident of Tashkent was selling her three-month-old baby for $5,000.
“Operative unit of the Tashkent city DIA, together with employees of the prosecutor’s office, carried out operational measures. As a result, the woman and her 24-year-old partner were detained red-handed while receiving money for the baby,” the statement says.
The collected materials were transferred to the Yunusabad district prosecutor’s office for legal action.
