Citizens of Uzbekistan continue to come to Samara from different regions of Russia, hoping to leave for their homeland. This time migrant workers are gathering at Kinel railway station, Interfax informs.
In August and July, several trains of Uzbekistan Railways transported about 2,500 migrants to the homeland that had gathered in the Bolshechernigovsky district of the Samara Oblast.
“More than 400 people have already come to the station. None of them are migrant workers from the Samara Oblast. They came from other parts of Russia. People hope to return home by train,” the agency said.
However, there is still no information on whether migrants would be given the opportunity to cross the border.
