Head of district cadaster department detained while taking $20,000 in bribe
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 3 of Article 210 (Paragraph “a”) of the Criminal Code and an investigation is underway.
The Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Khorezm regional department of the State Security Service took urgent measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of business entities.
According to the head of the public relations and legal information department under the Prosecutor General’s Office, the head of the department of land resources and state cadaster of the Tuprakkala district M.R. was caught red-handed with material evidence when he demanded $20,000 in bribe from citizen R., manager of the LLC “D.” in exchange for allocating 15 hectares of land in Gurlan to the company for the establishment of a fishing lake.
A criminal case has been instituted against M.R. under Part 3 of Article 210 (Paragraph “a”) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
