Drunken young man causes a car accident in Tashkent, one person dies
In Tashkent, an 18-year-old drunk driver caused a traffic accident that claimed the life of a passenger.
According to the press service of the Tashkent DIA, on August 20, at about 11:00, an 18-year-old intoxicated driver lost control over his Lacetti car and collided with an iron lighting pillar at the intersection of Shota Rustaveli and Mukimi Streets (near the bridge).
As a result of the accident, the driver and one of his passengers, 19, sustained severe injuries and were hospitalized.
Another passenger, also 19, died of injuries at the scene of the accident.
A preliminary investigation is ongoing.
