Two dead, another two injured in a car crash in Kashkadarya

A fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of August 28, in the Kasan district of the Kashkadarya region.

According to the Road Traffic Safety Department, a driver of Damas, 20, drove on the way of Kamaz-5320 truck travelling on the main road. As a result, the truck hit the right side of a microvan.

According to the report, the driver of Damas died at the scene of the accident and his passenger, 18, died from his injuries at the hospital. The truck driver, 29, and his passenger, 18, were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The Investigation Department has initiated criminal proceedings under Article 266-3 of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
