Tashkent State Agrarian University opens its branch in Samarkand
In accordance with a relevant decision of the government, the Tashkent State Agrarian University has established its branch in Samarkand.
The branch will start to operate from the 2020/2021 academic year.
One of the main tasks of the institution is the training of personnel with modern knowledge and skills on the application of innovative resource-saving technologies in agriculture, the introduction of “smart agriculture” and digital agricultural technologies.
The document approved the quotas for admission to the branch for bachelor and master’s courses for the academic year 2020/2021. The institution will enroll 475 undergraduate (95 on the basis of a state grant and 380 on a tuition fee basis) and 40 graduate students (on the basis of a state grant).
The branch will offer joint (double degree) programs in the field of agriculture in the partnership with the Grodno State Agrarian University of Belarus.
