Specialist explains why coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Uzbekistan
Nargiza Nurullayeva, a member of the Anti-Coronavirus Staff, explained the reasons for the rapid spread of COVID-19 among the population.
“Coronavirus spreads differently in every country. It mainly depends on population density, immunity of the people, climate and other factors,” she said during the briefing at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications.
According to the expert, the active spread of the virus also depends on how people comply with quarantine and hygiene rules.
As of September 18, the number of infection cases in Uzbekistan had reached 50,378.
