Two dead, one injured in a traffic accident in Navoi

According to the Road Traffic Safety Department, the driver of Lacetti, 23, drove into the wrong lane at a dangerous turn and had a head-on collision with Nexia.

It is noted that both drivers were moving with their seat belts unfastened.

As a result of the collision, two passengers of Nexia, 57 and 24, died at the scene and its driver, 23, died on the way to the hospital. The state of health of the Lacetti driver is unknown.

The police initiated criminal proceedings and the investigation is ongoing.

To note, during January-August there were 119 fatal accidents in the Navoi region.
