Medical institutions allowed to partially resume studies in the traditional form
Higher educational medical institutions in Uzbekistan have been allowed to partially resume studies in the traditional form. The Special Republican Commission has declared its relevant decision, the Ministry of Health reports.
It is noted that this decision is made “due to the high demand for medical personnel during the coronavirus pandemic”. It applies to undergraduate, masters and clinical residency students.
From October, the training will resume in the traditional form in:
• Tashkent Medical Academy and its branches;
• Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute;
• Karakalpak Medical Institute;
• Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute;
• Tashkent State Dental Institute;
• Andijan State Medical Institute;
• Bukhara State Medical Institute;
• Samarkand Medical Institute.
