Abdulaziz Kamilov receives outgoing Ambassador of Romania
Foreign Affairs Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has received the Ambassador of Romania to Uzbekistan Romeo Stanciu, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening cooperation in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, the MFA press service said.
Special attention was paid to the issues of interaction between the two countries within the EU.
It was noted at the meeting that Uzbekistan attaches particular importance to the development of trade, economic and investment ties with Romania, including the expansion of mutual trade by organizing supplies of a wide range of products to the Romanian market.
Following the talks, Kamilov expressed his appreciation to Romeo Stanciu for his personal contribution to strengthening and developing Uzbek-Romanian relations.
Romeo Stanciu, in turn, thanked for the constant support of his activities in Uzbekistan as the head of the diplomatic mission of Romania.
