13 young people poisoned with gas in Kashkadarya region

On December 19, 13 young people with signs of gas poisoning were brought to the Kashkadarya branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, the press service of the Regional Health Department said.

According to preliminary data, the reason for their poisoning was the defective gas heating boiler in the dormitory of a private training center in Karshi.

The youngest (all boys) is 11 and the oldest is 14. Three of them were in serious condition, five were with moderate complications and the rest received outpatient treatment.

“After receiving medical assistance, the condition of all teenagers has improved,” the press-service of the department concluded.
