Uzbekistan increases import of foreign-made cars
The State Statistics Committee has provided information on the import of cars and transport equipment to Uzbekistan in January-November.
It was noted that $1.9 billion was spent on vehicles specifically designed for certain industries and $838.9 million – spare parts.
Vehicles, mainly passenger cars (excluding ones designed to carry 10 or more people), were imported for $418.6 million. $1.6 billion was spent on non-industrial automobiles and their spare parts.
Electronic communication, recording and broadcasting devices cost $460 million, while electric cars, apparatus, instruments and their spare parts cost $592 million.
