Russia extradites 56 persons to Uzbekistan for criminal prosecution
56 Uzbek citizens wanted at home country were extradited by the Russian Federation. The extradition of criminals was carried out by a special flight, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation reported.
“With Rospodrebnadzor’s permission, 56 persons were extradited on a special flight from the territory of Russia for criminal prosecution for serious crimes,” the report says.
Among those extradited by the Russian PGO Office at the request of Uzbek colleagues was a citizen who attempted illegal large-scale sale of narcotic drugs by prior conspiracy with a group of persons.
On Monday, the airport in Novosibirsk effectively transferred 56 citizens to Uzbekistan with the necessary security measures due to the epidemiological situation.
