Tashkent city administration to compensate for demolition occurred 9 years back
On December 25, the Uchtepa inter-district civil court heard a lawsuit filed by the Shaykhantakhur district prosecutor’s office against the city administration for damages in the amount of 1.2 billion soums in favor of an entrepreneur.
The history of the case dates back to 2011. By the decision of the ex-khokim of Tashkent Rakhmonbek Usmanov, the shops on Alisher Navoi Street were demolished. The entrepreneur Nogay Sergey, the owner of one of the shops, has not yet been compensated.
According to Kun.uz correspondent, judge Nuriddin Murodov ruled to collect 1 billion 198 million 110 thousand soums from the city administration in favor of the entrepreneur.
City authorities acknowledged the claim and considered it valid.
Earlier, it was reported that 14.9 billion soums were paid after 3 years for the restaurant, which was demolished due to the construction of Tashkent City.
