Gas explosion kills two in Karshi

Two people have been killed in a gas explosion that almost destroyed the house in Karshi, the Emergencies Ministry said.

“On January 6 of this year, at 8:10 a.m., deflagration of a gas-air mixture set one of the houses located in the city of Karshi on fire. As a result, the walls of the building collapsed,” the report says.

The fire and rescue group of the regional emergency management department promptly arrived at the scene and carried out search and rescue operations. They recovered the bodies of two citizens from the destroyed house. Both of them were dead.

A pre-investigation check is being carried out on this fact.
