New khokim appointed for Yunusabad district
A new khokim has been appointed for Tashkent’s Yunusabad district.
Jahongir Ibragimov, who previously served as khokim of the Bektemir district, Tashkent city, has been appointed khokim of the Yunusabad district.
Rahmonbek Usmanov, who had been serving as Yunusabad district khokim since 2018, resigned from the Yunusabad district administration due to his appointment as Deputy Transport Minister. Jahongir Ibragimov was introduced as the new khokim of the Yunusabad district at a session held on January 14 with the participation of the capital’s khokim Jakhongir Artikhodjayev.
Jahongir Ibragimov was born in 1982 in the Tashkent region. In 2006, he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction. From 2017 to August 2020, he worked as deputy khokim of the Syrdarya region. From August 25 to the present, he had been working as khokim of the Bektemir district.
