Statistics Committee reports on foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan for 2020
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan was recorded at around $36.3 billion in January-December 2020. Compared to the same period in 2019, it decreased by $5.4 billion (13.1%).
During the reporting period, exports amounted to $15.1 billion (down by 13.4% in comparison with the January-December results of 2019) and imports – $21.1 billion (decreased by 12.8%). The passive balance in foreign trade turnover was $6 billion.
In 2020, China was the largest trading partner of Uzbekistan.

In quarterly terms, the sharpest decrease in FTT volumes, compared to the same period in 2019, was recorded in the II and IV quarters, which, respectively, amounted to $2.6 and $1.6 billion.
