Deputies pass the law to postpone Election Day

The Legislative Chamber has passed the law amending the Constitution and the Electoral Code. One of the changes involves moving Election Day from December to October. If the Senate also approves the bill and the President signs it, the 2021 presidential election will be held on October 24.
