President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has now new Deputy Advisor on developing the economic sector, foreign trade policy
Shukhrat Atabayev has been appointed Deputy Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan.
Atabayev will serve as Deputy Advisor to Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the development of economic sectors, implementation of investment and foreign trade policy.
Prior to his appointment, he worked as Board Chairman of Ipoteka Bank.
Shukhrat Atabayev was born in 1978 in the Nurota district of Navoi region. In 2000, he graduated from Tashkent Financial Institute, in 2005 – from the National Institute of Political Sciences (Japan), in 2010 – from the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of Uzbekistan.
He has been working in the banking system since 2001. Since June 2017, Shukhrat Atabayev served as Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, before that he was Deputy Chairman of the People’s Bank.
In November 2018, he was appointed Board Chairman of Ipoteka Bank.
