Deputy Transport Minister meets with representatives of Airbus International
On February 23, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport with representatives of Airbus International.
During the talks between Deputy Minister of Transport Jasurbek Choriyev and Airbus International’s Vice President for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Jacques Garrigue, the current state and prospects of cooperation were discussed.
In particular, the Uzbek side expressed interest in purchasing helicopters from Airbus Helicopters and launching flights. The parties considered the issues of studying foreign experience in developing the sphere and training of pilots.
Representatives of Airbus International also made proposals to establish cooperation in the field of airport management. During the meeting, the French side announced that a visit of the French Minister of Commerce to Uzbekistan is planned for May this year.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange information on the issues raised during the talks and to implement new joint projects in the future.
