Uzbekistan, Qatar plan to further consolidate bilateral political dialogue
On February 23, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov met in Doha with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
During the conversation, the parties discussed promising directions for the development of Uzbek-Qatari relations, noting the presence of significant potential in trade-economic, investment, tourism, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
The sides emphasized the intensification of bilateral political dialogue, as well as a significant increase in cooperation in economic diplomacy.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar highly appreciated the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in the field of state and social construction, economic liberalization, improvement of the business environment and investment climate.
During the conversation, the sides also considered other issues of a regional and international nature.
