Belarus Deputy PM to visit Uzbekistan heading a high-level delegation
On March 3-5, a Belarusian delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the country Aleksandr Subbotin will visit Uzbekistan.
The delegation will take part in the 8th meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation, which will be chaired by Subbotin and Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov.
The program of the visit also provides for negotiations in the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, ministries and departments, participation in a meeting of the Uzbek-Belarusian Business Council, visits to joint Uzbek-Belarusian enterprises, as well as Uzbek companies actively cooperating with partners from Belarus.
Within the framework of the visit, inter-MFA political consultations will take place at the level of the first deputy heads of foreign affairs agencies of the two countries. The Belarusian delegation will visit the cities of Almalyk and Samarkand, where they will hold talks on expanding interregional cooperation and implementing joint projects.
