Tashkent city administration tightens quarantine restrictions
Today, March 15, the khokim of Tashkent held an emergency meeting to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the capital.
According to the press service of the Tashkent administration, the meeting participants listened to the reports of representatives of the Public Health Department, as well as the Public Health Service.
“The importance of monitoring the current situation, ensuring the implementation of quarantine regulations in all districts of the capital, mahallas, markets, shopping centers, public transport, as well as in educational institutions, was emphasized,” the report says.
The relevant departments were instructed to strengthen control over the full observance of the current quarantine requirements and sanitary-hygienic rules by the population.
It should be noted that the number of infection cases is increasing in Tashkent. On March 14 alone, 93 new cases were registered in the capital.
