Inflation recorded at 0.8% in March
The Central Bank predicted inflation within 10% for 2021. So far, this forecast is justified.
Inflation in March amounted to 0.8%, Spot writes with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
Food products rose in price by 1.2%, non-food products – by 0.6%, services – by 0.4%. In March of the previous two years, the figures were higher.
For the first time since 2017, when statistics have become more reliable, inflation has not exceeded 1% for three months in a row. The Central Bank predicted inflation in the range of 10% for 2021. So far, the forecast has been justified – since the beginning of the year, prices have increased by 2.5%.
10% has been the lowest since 2017. At the end of 2019, inflation was 15.2%, in 2018 – 14.3%, in 2017 – 14.4%
