More than 200 coronavirus cases reported on April 8 in Uzbekistan
On April 8, 207 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 84,529.
Reportedly, 139 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 2 – in Karakalpakstan, 1 – in Andijan, 3 – in Bukhara, 1 – in Navoi, 3 – in Namangan, 18 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 3 – in Surkhandarya, 2 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 29 – in Tashkent region.
According to the Ministry of Health, 98 percent of all patients – 82,415 people – have recovered from the disease so far.
Currently, 1,480 people are being treated in hospitals, 229 of them in serious and 104 – in critical condition.
