Uzbekistan coronavirus cases beat daily record since start of 2021
On April 14, 227 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the number of officially reported cases to 85,730.
According to the Ministry of Health, 129 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 4 – in Karakalpakstan, 2 – in Andijan, 8 – in Bukhara, 3 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Navoi, 3 – in Namangan, 25 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 3 – in Fergana, 2 – in Khorezm and 42 – in Tashkent region.
So far, 83,462 people have recovered from the disease in the country.
Currently, 1,634 patients are being treated in hospitals, the condition of 229 is serious and 104 – critical.
