New spokesperson and official representative of Foreign Ministry appointed

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported about a new staff appointment.

At an expanded meeting of the Foreign Ministry board on April 27, FM Abdulaziz Kamilov introduced Yusuf Kabuljonov as an adviser to the Minister for Information Policy, press secretary and official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Yusuf Kabuljonov has been serving in the diplomatic service since 2009. He has extensive experience in the central office of the ministry and foreign institutions of Uzbekistan. In 2009-2016, he worked as second secretary, first secretary of the MFA press service, deputy director of the Jahon news agency.

In 2016-2018 he headed the department for cultural and humanitarian relations of the Foreign Ministry. In addition, in 2018-2021 he worked as Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk.

He is a member of the creative union of journalists of Uzbekistan.
