Coronavirus: Total reported cases surpasses 92 thousand in Uzbekistan
On May 2, 363 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan. The total number of officially reported cases has reached 92,006.
According to the Ministry of Health, 188 of the reported cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 3 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 7 – in Jizzakh, 8 – in Kashkadarya, 4 – in Navoi, 5 – in Namangan, 46 – in Samarkand, 6 – in Syrdarya, 3 – in Surkhandarya, 4 – in Fergana, 10 – in Khorezm and 74 – in Tashkent region.
Also, one patient died on May 2. The official death toll stands at 653. The total number of recovered is 87,965 (96%).
Currently, 3,388 people are being treated in hospitals.
