Coronavirus cases near 94 thousand in Uzbekistan, death toll reaches 662
On May 7, 381 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 93,978.
According to the Ministry of Health, 153 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 11 – in Karakalpakstan, 7 – in Andijan, 11 – in Bukhara, 7 – in Jizzakh, 6 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 8 – in Namangan, 80 – in Samarkand, 8 – in Syrdarya, 4 – in Surkhandarya, 15 – in Fergana, 6 – in Khorezm and 62 – in Tashkent region.
Also, two patients died on May 7. The death toll stands at 662.
So far, 89,703 people have recovered from the disease in the country. Currently, 3,648 patients are being treated in hospitals.
