Coronavirus: Number of patients in hospitals near 3,900, death toll reaches 667
On May 12, 359 more people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the number of total recorded cases to 95,826.
“163 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 8 – in Karakalpakstan, 7 – in Andijan, 6 – in Bukhara, 4 – in Jizzakh, 6 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 65 – in Samarkand, 7 – in Syrdarya, 5 – in Surkhandarya, 15 – in Fergana, 1 – in Khorezm and 63 – in Tashkent region,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Also, one patient died yesterday. The official death toll has reached 667.
So far 91,301 people have recovered from the disease in the country. Currently, 3,858 patients are being treated in hospitals.
