Coronavirus: 263 more cases reported, death toll reaches 676
On May 19, 263 more people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the number of total recorded cases to 97,543.
The Ministry of Health said that 120 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 11 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 8 – in Bukhara, 6 – in Jizzakh, 4 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 30 – in Samarkand, 5 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 11 – in Fergana, 9 – in Khorezm and 44 – in Tashkent region.
Also, two patients died yesterday. The official death toll reached 676.
The number of recovered in the country stands at 93,071. Currently, 3,796 patients are being treated in hospitals.
