Uzbekistan considerably increases import of electric vehicles
In January-April 2021, Uzbekistan imported 156 electric cars. This is more by 138 units compared to the same period last year.

In April alone, 65 electric cars were imported, the State Statistics Committee said.
The list of countries from where deliveries were made:
China – 119 units
Turkey – 24 units
South Korea – 4 units
USA – 4 units
Germany – 3 units
Lithuania – 1 unit
Spain – 1 unit
Regions importing electric vehicles in the reporting period:
Tashkent city – 150 units
Samarkand region – 2 units
Andijan region – 2 units
Tashkent region – 1 unit
Syrdarya region – 1 unit
Number of imported electric cars in recent years:
In 2018 – 13 units
In 2019 – 39 units
In 2020 – 131 units
In January-April 2021, $3.4 million was spent on imported electric cars.
