Coronavirus cases exceed 98 thousand in Uzbekistan
On May 21, 308 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan, bringing the total number of cases to 98,164.
The Ministry of Health reported that 172 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 6 – in Karakalpakstan, 5 – in Andijan, 2 – in Bukhara, 4 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 38 – in Samarkand, 5 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 11 – in Fergana, 3 – in Khorezm and 49 – in Tashkent region.
Also, two patients died yesterday. The official death toll reached 680.
The number of recovered in the country stands at 93,633. Currently, 3,851 patients are being treated in hospitals.
