Coronavirus cases surpass 99 thousand in Uzbekistan
On May 25, 215 people tested positive for coronavirus in the country bringing the total number of cases to 99,064.
“104 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 3 – in Karakalpakstan, 1 – in Andijan, 1 – in Bukhara, 3 – in Jizzakh, 3 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 4 – in Namangan, 46 – in Samarkand, 5 – in Syrdarya, 1 – in Surkhandarya, 4 – in Fergana, 2 – in Khorezm and 38 – in Tashkent region,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
Two patients died yesterday, the official death toll has reached 684.
“94,683 people have recovered from the disease so far. Currently, 3,697 patients are being treated in hospitals,” the ministry added.
