During the first 4 months of 2021, the number of road accidents involving children increased by 25.3%, and the number of children killed in them increased by 64.5%. This was announced at the AIMC press conference by Colonel Erali Bozorov, Deputy Head of the Main Traffic Safety Department of the Interior Ministry.

“Teaching traffic rules to schoolchildren is not organized at the required level. There are no separate classes in this area yet. Classes are conducted only at the expense of other subjects, by teachers who do not have sufficient qualifications,” he said.
