Nurmat Otabekov: Decision on vaccination should be made after a medical examination
Nurmat Otabekov, deputy head of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, told for whom vaccination against coronavirus is contraindicated.
“Vaccination is carried out according to the vaccine manufacturer’s recommendations. It is not recommended for people with HIV infection or autoimmune diseases, including those with severe allergic reactions, pregnant women, women during lactation and those under 18 years old,” Otabekov said.
According to him, in any case, the decision on vaccination should be made after a medical examination.
“If there are circumstances when vaccination may cause harm, the doctor conducting the medical examination will definitely take it into account,” he added.
