Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to President of Iraq
On June 1, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Iraq with residence in Kuwait, Bahrom Aloyev, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic, Barham Salih.
During the conversation, Barham Salih expressed his gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for appointing the country’s first ambassador to Iraq.
“The parties expressed confidence that this decision will contribute to the expansion and strengthening of Uzbek-Iraqi relations,” the statement says.
The sides noted at the meeting the importance of enhancing political dialogue, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
