International Trade Center to be built in Termez
The complex will have 1,800 retail outlets, a logistics center and much more.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the master plan of the Termez International Trade Center, the presidential press service reports.
26 hectares of land in the Termez district have been allocated for the center. It will house terminals for receiving, storing, processing, sorting and packing, as well as selling products.
The complex will have 1,800 retail outlets, a logistics center, two hotels with 400 beds, hospitals and car service points.
It is planned to place shops on the first floors of the buildings, and light industry enterprises – on the second.
According to estimates, the annual trade turnover of the International Trade Center will be $500 million, and the volume of services – $10 million.
The commissioning of the Termez International Trade Center is scheduled for 2022.
