Health Ministry announces statistics on spread of COVID-19

The Health Ministry of Uzbekistan has updated statistics on the spread of coronavirus in the country.

According to data press service of the department, on June 6 of this year, 242 people tested positive for coronavirus in the republic.

The total number of registered cases was 101,964.

Yesterday, June 6, 115 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 11 – in Karakalpakstan, 4 – in Andijan, 13 – in Bukhara, 7 – in Jizzakh, 2 – in Navoi, 6 – in Namangan, 23 – in Samarkand and 5 – in Surkhandarya region.

In addition, 3 people tested positive for corovirus in Syrdarya, 7 – in Fergana, 1 – in Khorezm and 48 – in Tashkent region.

The total number of people cured of coronavirus in the country has reached 97,861, or 96% of the infected.

The number of active infections is 3,407.
