Uzbekistan wins eight medals at the Hand-to-Hand Fighting World Championship

The national team of Uzbekistan won eight medals at the World Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship that took place in Tashkent from June 5 to 7, the National Olympic Committee reports.

Uzbek fighters won two gold, four silver and two bronze medals.

Gold:

• -70 kg: Olimjon Normurodov
• -55 kg: Maftuna Kuvondikova

Silver:

• -45 kg: Nargiza Nazikulova
• -55 kg: Javokhir Sobitov
• -55 kg: Sabrina Rajabova
• -75 kg: Jakhongir Jumayev

Bronze:

• -45 kg: Shirinoy Zokhidova
• -55 kg: Bekzod Atajonov
