Vahobjon Rajapov appointed Deputy Minister of Public Education

By a decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Vahobjon Rajapov was appointed Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan.

Prior to his appointment, Rajapov worked as the director of the Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Public Education Employees of the Ferghana Region.

He also held various positions in the public education system of the Namangan region: he served as the director of a state specialized boarding school and the head of the Namangan regional department of public education.

While he chaired the Namangan Regional Department of Public Education, the rate of admission of graduates of regional schools to higher educational institutions increased 4 times.

Vahobjon Rajapov was born in 1971 in the Pop district of Namangan region. He studied history and law at Namangan State University and is awardee of the Order “For Selfless Service”.
