Coronavirus cases near 135 thousand in Uzbekistan
On August 5, 974 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 547 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 134,826 (+974).
Reportedly, 125 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 103 – in Karakalpakstan, 41 – in Andijan, 19 – in Bukhara, 110 – in Jizzakh, 35 – in Kashkadarya, 21 – in Navoi, 40 – in Namangan, 102 – in Samarkand, 27 – in Syrdarya, 105 – in Surkhandarya, 96 – in Fergana, 40 – in Khorezm and 110 – in Tashkent region.
6 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 916.
As of August 5, the number of recovered stands at 128,191 (+882).
Also, 547 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 13,531. According to the Ministry of Health, 551 of them recovered yesterday (6,046 in total).
3 pneumonia patients died on August 5, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 90.
