Health Ministry reports 948 coronavirus, 521 pneumonia cases
On August 12, 948 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 521 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 141,158 (+948).
Reportedly, 204 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 91 – in Karakalpakstan, 42 – in Andijan, 23 – in Bukhara, 65 – in Jizzakh, 27 – in Kashkadarya, 19 – in Navoi, 47 – in Namangan, 93 – in Samarkand, 27 – in Syrdarya, 90 – in Surkhandarya, 82 – in Fergana, 40 – in Khorezm and 96 – in Tashkent region.
8 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 964.
As of August 12, the number of recovered stands at 134,307 (+945).
Also, 521 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 16,885. According to the Ministry of Health, 424 of them recovered yesterday (9,502 in total).
4 pneumonia patients died on August 12, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 114.
