Mass ice cream poisoning occurs in Tashkent region

In the Tashkent region, there was a massive poisoning with ice cream, the Almalyk city khokimiyat reported.

It is noted that 16 patients were hospitalized in the Almalyk city infectious diseases hospital with such a diagnosis.

Reportedly, 31 of them have been allowed to return home, as they are in good condition. Five more are undergoing treatment, the condition of the patients is of moderate severity.

In addition, 10 patients were hospitalized in the Akhangaran city medical association. At the moment, their condition is of moderate severity, treatment is ongoing.

The khokimiyat pointed out that the cause of the mass poisoning was ice cream produced by a private entrepreneur. This business entity is located in the city of Almalyk.

An epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
